CMR© leverages the latest technology available from Microsoft®, allowing a high degree of flexibility as well as scalability. The application was engineered with performance as a top priority to ensure the highest possible availability while seamlessly integrating with existing systems in your busy emergency department.
THE TECHNOLOGY CMR© is constantly evolving to include the latest in technological innovation to give our users the best experience possible. This ASP.NET application currently incorporates AJAX and Web/WCF Services as just a small example of our efforts to remain on the cutting edge of web development. The use of Microsoft® best practices allows us to incorporate these new technologies while ensuring optimal stability and security.
WEB-BASED INTERFACE CMR©’s web-based architecture has many advantages over traditional desktop-based solutions. Clinical staff will only need a web browser installed on basic client systems which reduces maintenance and total cost of ownership. Our architecture offers maximum portability of the application. Clinical staff can perform documentation from a variety of different sources – i.e. desktops, laptops, or even thin clients. We at CMR© are constantly improving our application to meet the needs of the ever-changing emergency department environment. In a time critical environment, our architecture allows for downtime of seconds/minutes when we perform updates – not hours or days.
INTEGRATION CMR© stays abreast of the latest HL7 development and offers full support for HL7 messaging (version 2.x+). The interface engine used by CMR© is very robust and allows for full Admission Discharge and Transfer (ADT) Integration with existing HIS systems. CMR© strives to provide its users with as transparent a process as possible. Through various integration packages for Discharge and Lab Integration, CMR© provides clinical staff the same seamless experience that one might expect from their existing Hospital Information System.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT CMR© continues to change as requirements associated with the practice of emergency medicine, emergency department management, and medical education change. CMR© was developed and is updated by emergency physicians who use the system in their daily practice. Clinical (both physician and nursing), administrative and managerial support, in addition to technical support, are provided for users of the CMR© application.
